Great storytelling is immersing the listener/viewer into that story as if they were in it.
Being able to catch the attention of the listener is important because it gets them hooked on what you are tying to say. Being able to use imagery is also a good storytelling technique because if the viewer can visualize what is happening it starts to ease them in to what is happening. Being able to end with a twist and a lesson to the story that can make people feel like they didn't waste anytime listening to you!
