These filmmakers were trying to to convey this old man in a world where every thing is evolving but he is staying the same as he watches the generations of people walk in to his store. they used a lot of b roll and voice overs. They also had set interviews with the man as he talks about his life and the comics he liked. They even had the old style country music to go with b roll.
